Ms. Horvath has over 20 years of experience in the Social Work field. She has a Bachelor of Social Work and a Masters of Social Work. She is licensed by the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, ("LCSW") and a Board Certified Clinical Social Work Supervisor.
Ms. Horvath has over 15 years of experience in inpatient psychiatric care, over 12 years of experience in outpatient private practice, over 2 years experience in the medical hospital field and over 6 years of experience in community based Social Work programs. Ms. Horvath has served as an expert court witness on child custody cases and child abuse cases. Ms. Horvath specializes in therapy issues pertaining to abuse, trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, children and life's developmental stages. Ms Horvath typically uses Cognitive Therapy, Psycho-dynamic Therapy and Family Systems Therapy in her practice.
